I was born in the north of Spain, in the province of Asturias, but I live east of it, in Catalonia. My interest in painting was very early, but I couldn’t do it until a few years later. I started with an impressionist work, looking for expression, feeling, light and color. Then for a long time, I focused my work towards pictorial research, using different materials, mixed techniques, collage, etc … Arriving at abstraction. Research and research is an important part of my work, creating new ways of expression. Also an exciting medium is watercolor, which I recently spent some time on. It is a living technique that constantly surprises you in its execution. One does not dominate her, she commands and the artist obeys. Lately, due to the confinement by the covid-19, my work was focused on what was closest to me, the garden, nature and its cheerful flowers, in a spring that this year has been lush and competed with the sadness of the moment. That joy of color, made him create a series of works dedicated to color, matter, expression, anxiety and vitality. This is represented in my Flowers, Subjects, and Expressionists series. Tomorrow or the days after all this, I don’t know what the path of my works will be, I let myself go.
